Try Harder

Try Harder is the 5th episode that was published on 12-03-2016.

This episode took the most effort of any of the episodes. Lots of time creating the school, desks, classmates and it brought the animation software to it’s limit. I had to rethink the way this episode could be created.

The episode was a lesson that we need to focus our attention on where we are at and what we are doing. Tommy was in class, but he was easily distracted because he didn’t want to learn.

Tommy just wants life to be fun, but Teddy tries to explain that life is a mixture of tough times, things we don’t want to do, and good times. He tries to teach Tommy that we need the tough times to make the good times more appreciated. Tommy lets his anger get the best of him and brings attention to himself.

We also learn that we shouldn’t try to develop our skills to be a “better cheater” by looking at someone else’s answers. Not only is it wrong, but this student assumed that Tommy knew more about the subject than he did. Learning can be fun if one realizes that it is part of building a good character.
