Tommy let the toxic playground bully mess with his self-esteem. He decides that, if he is famous, he will be valuable and liked by people. He tries to learn the guitar for all the wrong reasons, and it comes out in his performance.
Teddy tries to explain that Tommy should learn to play the guitar because he wants to hear how beautiful the guitar sounds, not because he wants to be famous and/or liked.
Two people (so far) disliked this video, so it goes to show, people are going to dislike stuff just because it is in their dis-likable character! Haters will be haters, there isn’t much anyone can do about that.
