Dirty Diners is the 2nd episode that was published on 10-03-2016.
This episode was unique because all of the audio was recorded while staying in a hotel in California. The hotel was under a huge remodeling project, so it was difficult to record the voices in between the jack-hammers and construction noise. I needed some background restaurant noise, so I went to a popular restaurant and sat in the waiting room with my recorder.
The idea behind this episode was to remind us that it doesn’t take too much effort to say “Please” or “Thank You” (a lost “art” with so many people these days). Another objective of the episode was to inform us that we can reduce our chances of getting sick if we remember to wash our hands.
The ironic story behind this episode, I got extremely sick on this trip! Not from not washing my hands, but from being in a car with someone who got sick from a co-worker. Crazy times, but it was nice to get an episode out of the experience.
